The newly elected President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Yakubu Maikyau has been sworn in.
Uncovered.ng reports that the newly elected president was sworn in as the 31st President of the NBA, following an election conducted by legal practitioners online.
Maikyau was sworn in at the close of activities for the 62nd Annual General Conference of the association held in Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on Friday.
The swearing-in ceremony was the hallmark of the NBA “Bold Transitions” Annual General Meeting of the Association.
Maikyau was sworn before a large number of lawyers by his predecessor, Mr. Olumide Akpata.
