The Hausa community in Ogun West Senatorial District has endorsed the ambition of Sen. Solomon Adeola to be the senator representing the district in the February 25 election.

The group with over 50,000 people across the five local government areas of the district on Thursday converged in Ilaro , Yewa South Local Government Area of the state to endorse Adeola and other APC candidates in the forth coming elections.

Speaking at the event, Alhaji Musa Lawal, the Sarkin Hausa of Ilaro, said the Hausa community were aware of Adeola’s performance as a Lagos senator and his supportive role for President Muhammadu Buhari in the National Assembly.

Lawal said that the Hausa community in Ogun West would accord him maximum support at the poll, saying that the senator had demonstrated that he had the interest of the people at heart.

He called on the senator to work towards consolidating the peaceful co-existence among the Hausa community and their Yoruba host.

The community leader said that the Hausa community would continue to preach national unity , saying that all the eligible voters in the community were ready to cast there votes for APC presidential candidate, Sen Bola Tinubu.

Responding , Sen. Adeola stated he looked forward to build on the existing peaceful co-existence between the Arewa community and their host.

The lawmaker stressed that he would be the senator of all within his constituent and with everyone having access to him and benefitting from his service at the NationalAssembly.

“I am going to be the senator for all and you can be assured that you will be part of all my empowerment programme including the one I am doing next week in all sectors of skills acquisition,” he said.

Adeola urged them to remain law abiding and support APC which remained the only party seriously promoting and working for national unity. (NAN)
