A Royal burial befitting of a King’s father, Superior Evangelist Thompson Olawale Ogunsanwo was thrown by Oba Olukayode Folarin Ogunsanwo the Alara of Ilara and his four siblings in honor of their late father.
The whole of Ilara Epe stood agog while the late Superior Evangelist was finally laid to rest on Friday Feb. 17, 2023 at Ibonwon, Epe area of Lagos State.
The classy event paraded traditional rulers, Political icons, Government officials, business Moguls, family and friends and a host of other personalities across the nation came to bid farewell to the late Pa Thompson Olawale Ogunsanwo.

Many of the Alara of Ilara Chiefs were also not left out.
Speaking, the monarch expressed his profound gratitude to the people of the kingdom who stood by him and gave him their support.
He said; “Words are not enough to express my gratitude to the people for standing by us financially, morally and spiritually in giving our late father this befitting burial he deserved.
“Our late father has proved himself a noble man and God-fearing fellow. We will forever miss his words of inspirations and encouragement.”
Meanwhile, the week-long burial of the late patriarch of the Ogunsanwo Royal family fondly called Baba Oba who died on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023 at the age of 86, commenced on Wednesday Feb. 15, 2023 with a service of songs at the deceased residence, Alao Oko Osi Street, Sango-Idi Iroko expressway, Sango-Ota, Ogun.
A day, prior to the funeral on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023 was the Christian wake held at the Catholic Mission House, Mojoda – Ibonwon road, Eredo LCDA, Epe, Lagos.
The popular King of Fuji music, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal also known as Kwam 1 was also on ground to thrill and entertain the guests.
